Agenda:

Update planners with Agenda and HW
  1. Announcements:
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
  2. Warm Up: Complete on the scratch paper on your desk. Answer ALL of the following questions in complete sentences.
      1. Describe the class' overall behavior while you had subs last Wed, Thu and Fri and give at least 2 specific examples of behavior you saw.
      2. Describe your own behavior and participation; were you on task, were you respectful with your words and actions, did you follow directions, did you complete your work, etc. Be specific.
      3. What consequences should students have whose names are listed by the subs? Give at least two examples.
      4. Do you think the sub left your name as an off-task student? Why or why not?
  3. Term 1 Evaluation: Complete with tutors in groups.
      1. Review your transcript and answer the questions.
      2. Begin your reflection and plan for maintaining and/or improving in each area of AVID.
      3. Write a paragraph reflection for each academic class and your plan for maintaining and/or improving your grade in each class.
